IMAGING SERVICE ENGINEER MR/CT
Excellent career opportunity for one of the premier hospital employers in the state of Georgia. Will provide excellent salary plus OT and continued training on the latest modalities.
COMPENSATION:
$ plus OT
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Seven 7 years of experience performing corrective and preventive maintenance on high tech diagnostic
equipment.
Must posses MR and CT experience
Possess formal training in these modalities
OEM training on GE &/or SiemensDESCRIPTION
Perform installations repairs and maintenance tasks on diagnostic medical equipment specific medical
devices. Inspect test replace and adjust malfunctioning components and parts. Keep records of system
problems and issues.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Performs general equipment repairs.
2. Performs preventive maintenance.
3. Maintains files supplies and parts.
4. Maintains knowledge current within field.
5. Perform cost containment measures by sourcing the most cost efficient measures to maintain
diagnostic equipment.
6. Communicates with staff and customers.
7. Works on high tech laboratory or diagnostic imaging equipment.
8. Maintains regulatory documentation.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS ABILITIES
Exceptional Communication and Customer Service Skills
Ability to analyze and interpret complex information related to the malfunctions of clinical equipment
as described by clinical staff in determining equipment operational condition and ability to follow
complex written instructions perform tasks and document actions taken.
Ability to perform during emergency or stressful situations.
Ability to learn equipment maintenance and repair procedures from courses service engineer
representatives and training materials.
Computer and typing skills.
Perform equipment database documentation.
REQUIREMENTS
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Associate s degree in Medical Electronics Electronic Technology Imaging Service Technology or a
related field OR related military training.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Certified Radiology Equipment Service (CRES) and/or Certified Laboratory Equipment Service
(CLES) preferred but not required.
Vendor raining preferred.
Must possess specialized training by manufacturer or third party equipment repair in high end
equipment Diagnostic Imaging MR/CT) equipment.
