Job Description
Underdirection of the Program Manger the CRCprovides direct patient care and participates in therapeutic milieu within thescope of defined practice. Successfulcandidate will provide direct patient care through group and individualcounseling in accordance with current treatment plan. Establishes relationships with patients thatare helpful and maintains professional boundaries. Intervenes in managing complex patientsituations. Participates in leading andcoleading patient groups. Provides andsupervises community activities according to needs. Provides patients with direction andsupervision as needed. Communicatesinformation regarding patient milieu/therapeutic environment to appropriatestaff in a timely manner.
MedicationAdministration Program Certification. Applicants who are not currentlyMAP(Medication Administration Progam) certified will have a specified timeperiod from the date of hire to successfully complete a McLean sponsored MAPcertification program. Successful passing of the Medication AdministrationCertification is a requirement of the job.
The salary range forthis position is $12.50 $14.94. Exact salaries are calculated when a joboffer is to be made and are based on a candidates experience andqualifications. Employees in this position are eligible for shiftdifferentials.
Employees are expected toremain awake and alert at all times on all shifts.
HighSchool Diploma Required. Two years of college preferred. Requires verbal and written communicationskills and the ability to work in collaboration with others. No experience required. One year patient care or related experiencepreferred preferably in a psychiatric setting.Drivers license (MA CT NH NY RI VT) preferred (varies by program)and ability to satisfactorily meet hospital driving standards.
