The Account Director will play a critical role managing a major multinational client on their longstanding partnership of an F1 team. With a passion for and core expertise in hospitality the Account Director will lead the relationships across all key stakeholders providing strategical guidance and insight to set up the partnership and subsequent activations for success. You will be leading and ensuring collaboration is the key focus for all work streams across an integrated account team including Strategy Creative PR & Comms Digital & Content. Building strong a relationship with the client is a key part of the job offering new and forwardthinking ideas is essential. A confident and assured attitude is a necessary as the role will include pitching strategy and ideas to the client.
The role will be based at Right Formulas offices in Battersea London and will require international travel approximately 810 events.
Key Responsibilities
Daytoday client delivery lead including management of all key stakeholders such as rights holder agencies suppliers and other relevant parties: building strong relationships with all.
Lead on strategic development and delivery of innovative partnership activations across multiple markets to meet client objectives.
Manage the integrated account team and daytoday operational efficiency to ensure a smooth project across all work streams.
Manage the overall health of account ensuring they meet agency and client targets.
Show senior leadership throughout the account and be confident delivering onsite as part of the event team when needed.
Manage budget negotiations with the client for the forthcoming year and its subsequent management including budget setting reconciliation and regular client reporting.
Provide oversight and management of activation success metrics internal tracking documents weekly updates and recaps.
Enable growth of accounts by identifying client needs and opportunities for additional services including the development of proposals and plans.
Cultivate strong client relationships to foster trust and longterm partnerships.
Works with internal teams to ensure proper resource allocation and project management.
Skills and Experience Required
Significant relevant global agency or clientbased experience in the sports and entertainment industries.
Knowledge and expertise working in Formula 1.
In depth knowledge and experience of amplifying sports partnership across the marketing spectrum with a strong focus on activation planning and hospitality delivery at a global level.
Experience delivering high quality multifaceted onsite activation and hospitality programmes.
Significant experience in professional client relationship management including Csuite level.
Excellent financial management skills including budgeting reconciliation and reporting.
Demonstrable experience of performance evaluation techniques and metrics.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities with the aptitude to foster longterm relationships.
Excellent organisational skills with the confidence to manage different projects across multiple work streams.
Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills.
