Job Description
The Icon Payments Framework (IPF) provides institutions with faster and more costeffective access to instant payments through an advanced and highly flexible payments specific platform which seamlessly integrates with core and backoffice banking applications.
A Senior Project Manager is required to join our growing delivery team to work alongside the Delivery Director. The successful candidate must have proven experience of endtoend management of technical onsite engagements senior stakeholder management and working closely with an Agile featurebased product delivery team to integrate products into client sites.
As we work with senior stakeholders and technicians on mission critical programs of work the ability to engage positively on both a management and technical level report succinctly and accurately are essential. Project dependent travel will be required across the UK and Europe.
About You:
- Fluent in Spanish with the ability to travel across the UK and Europe dependent on project requirement.
- Full lifecycle project management experience within a commercial B2B context.
- Financial Services domain knowledge preferably in the real time payments space either within a bank or central infrastructure.
- Experienced in detailed contract review and associated governance.
- Prior experience implementing a productbased solution.
- Highly experienced in Agile (i.e. scrum Kanban DSDM) featurebased Product delivery and release management with the ability to guide client resources in ways of working where needed.
- High level of proficiency in Jira/confluence.
- Experience in agile / waterfall blended approaches often found at tier 1 financial institutions.
- Project delivery experience using multiple project resources of inhouse colleagues clients and 3rd party partner resources developing a collaborative delivery ethic.
- Commercial senior stakeholder management and client engagement with a focus on exceptional client satisfaction.
- Working with disparately located teams (both onshore and offshore) and within multivendor scenarios.
- Strong team leadership skills especially in the context of large teams of consulting professionals.
- Comfortable working in a diverse innovative flexible high ambitious and high growth environment.
- Managing all aspects of project delivery including project planning resourcing milestone tracking commercial management risk issue and financial management reporting and customer satisfaction.
- Providing pragmatic project management guidance to clients and colleagues.
- Acting as interface between Icon technology team client teams and thirdparty vendors.
- Build effective working relationships with both delivery and business development organisations within Icon with the objective of finding opportunities to add value to the end client.
- Ability to be a part of and influence future growth of the delivery team at Icon.
- The collaboration with a customer to help achieve their business goals and implement longterm solutions.
