ABOUT THE ROLE
At Helm we believe that great experiences start with great language. Were looking for a UX Writer/Conversation Designer who can shape how users engage with our clients products and services designing clear helpful and human conversations copy and content that guides supports and delights.
Youll be part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team that works across industries channels and languages. From financial services to entertainment youll help define how people interact with technology in ways that feel natural and valuable. This role is ideal for someone whos as comfortable thinking strategically about user journeys as they are crafting the perfect microcopy or chatbot conversation flow. Youll report to the Conversation Design Lead and work alongside design leads product managers and engineers to deliver work that is both impactful and valuable.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Craft compelling and clear user experiences: Design and write usercentred copy for digital products services and conversational interfaces.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams: Work closely with designers product managers and engineers to ensure a consistent and delightful user experience.
- Develop user flows and conversation scripts: Create engaging and effective dialogues that guide users through complex tasks and interactions.
- Conduct user research and testing: Gather insights to inform and validate design decisions.
- Stay uptodate on industry trends: Maintain a strong understanding of UX writing and conversation design best practices.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience: 3 years of experience in UX writing or conversation design with a portfolio showcasing your work.
- Strong writing and communication skills: Ability to write clear concise and engaging copy that adapts to different contexts and audiences.
- Usercentric mindset: A deep understanding of user needs and motivations with a passion for creating intuitive and enjoyable experiences.
- Collaborative spirit: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with stakeholders and crossfunctional team members.
- Proficiency in design tools: Familiarity with wireframing prototyping and user testing tools.
- Problemsolving skills: Ability to identify and address user pain points and design challenges.
- Adaptability: Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fastpaced environment.
