Job Description

Major responsibilities:

Solution Architect for the Manufacturing and Quality spaces responsible for PP PPPI IM PM LE QM and BM modules in the internal manufacturing sites Interfaces with external MES and Quality systems processes related to Manufacturing / Warehouse labels as well as mobile applications for the internal manufacturing sites.

Partners with external consultants Business IT and business process owners responsible for manufacturing warehouse management and quality capabilities within the region.

Analyzes business requirements and either proposes new or leverages existing J&J system solutions to extend the global designs.

Looks for opportunities to expand the IT AS Make and Quality footprint while reducing business cost and effectively managing business partner expectations.

Ensures system changes are implemented in a secure and compliant manner following established change control procedures

Ensures impact analysis and testing plans including regression testing analysis and impact to existing functionality are performed as well as risk is properly managed in the platforms / functional spaces under his/her responsibility.

Reviews and approves functional and technical designs created by other internal and external consultants and vendors applying indepth SAP PPPI IM PM and LE knowledge.

Ensures adherence to J&J standards (SDLC CSV GxP and SOX)

Qualifications

Required

A Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution

5 years of experience deploying and supporting SAP Manufacturing Warehouse Management and/or Quality Management functionality including endtoend full lifecycle activities.

3 years of handson configuration experience within the PPPI IM PM LE QM and/or BM modules of SAP.

Participation in at least two full cycle implementations within PPPI IM LE and/or QM.

Extensive experience implementing Manufacturing WM and/or QM processes in SAP.

Extensive knowledge in GxP Processes.

Change management and System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience.

Experience collaborating in a crossfunctional team environment.

Excellent communication skills.

Desired/preferred

Deployments in SAP S4 HANA / Fiori apps

Handson experience in SAP Solution Manager

SOX environment experience

Understanding of SAP Authorizations

  • Document findings of study and prepare recommendations for implementation of new systems procedures or organizational changes.
  • Interview personnel and conduct onsite observation to ascertain unit functions work performed and methods equipment and personnel used.
  • Analyze data gathered and develop solutions or alternative methods of proceeding.
  • Plan study of work problems and procedures such as organizational change communications information flow integrated production methods inventory control or cost analysis.
  • Confer with personnel concerned to ensure successful functioning of newly implemented systems or procedures.
  • Gather and organize information on problems or procedures.
  • Prepare manuals and train workers in use of new forms reports procedures or equipment according to organizational policy.
  • Review forms and reports and confer with management and users about format distribution and purpose identifying problems and improvements.
  • Develop and implement records management program for filing protection and retrieval of records and assure compliance with program.
  • Design evaluate recommend and approve changes of forms and reports.
  • Recommend purchase of storage equipment and design area layout to locate equipment in space available.
