Requirements
KeyResponsibilities
- Leadthe planning design and implementation of overhead and underground electricaldistribution systems 4kV25kV).
- Managea team of engineers technologists and support staff providing mentorshiptechnical guidance and performance management.
- Overseeproject delivery ensuring designs meet client specifications industrystandards budgets and timelines.
- Collaboratewith utility companies municipalities and stakeholders to facilitate smoothproject and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Developand maintain strong relationships with clients identifying opportunities forbusiness development and growth.
- Prepareand review technical reports proposals budgets and project schedules.
- Drivecontinuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes improve quality andenhance team efficiency.
- Stayuptodate with advancements in power distribution technologies regulationsand industry best practices.
Qualification:
- 8years of progressive experience in electrical power distribution engineeringincluding 3 years in a leadership or management role.
- Strongknowledge of utility standards CSA IEEE and other relevant codes.
- Experiencemanaging projects involving load flow studies voltage regulation faultanalysis and protection coordination.
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Registration:Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) with EGBC (or eligible forregistration).
- Provenability to manage teams projects and budgets effectively.
- Proficiencywith design and analysis tools such as AutoCAD MicroStation CYME and ETAP.
- Strongcommunication problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
- Excellentorganizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fastpacedenvironment.
