SCOPE

The Allocator is responsible for managing the planning and analysis of seasonal Outlet assortment plans to maximize business results. The person in this role will partner crossfunctionally with Retail U.S. and Italy Corporate to identify and provide key data and analytics of performance to strategically drive meaningful growth and profitability for the Company.


RESPONSIBILITIES


Product Allocation

  • Review incoming stock from boutiques for future seasons identify missing categories and partner with HQ team for potential MFO needs

Gather feedback on bestselling BTQ styles; relay to HQ for potential MFO recreation for upcoming seasons

Partner with BTQs to ensure timely EOS transfers for efficient allocation; share delivery plan with HQ

  • Define allocation plan for each season

Based on previous seasonal sales by store / current budgets

Review sellthrough reports by category/style from previous season

Gather feedback from SMs on best/worst selling styles sizes fabrics to note for individual allocation

Partner with VM on merchandising guides and plans for product arrival

  • Replenishment of styles from warehouse throughout the season based on sell through
  • Complete MFO allocation based on files sent from HQ each season

Product Analysis

  • Review seasonal sell through weekly share reports with the team and create action plans around sales vs stock available

Monitor sell through by style to understand markdown risks and/or stock rotations needed

  • Stock rotations for stores to maximize sell through noting time in store before creating transfers
  • Calls with HQ to review sell through/store feedback and request product based on product needs
  • Weekly recap to HQ with highlights on sales trend and requests of anticipation of new drops/markdown or PROMO activation/MFO requests
  • Partners with Retail Director to create store contests/incentives to drive sell through on focus categories
  • Analyze inventory and create EOS transfers based on sell through/stock levels
  • Outlet Team Uniform

Analyze stock levels and identify styles for seasonal uniforms

Create uniform guide to be shared with team for SS/FW seasons

Outlet Promotions/Markdowns/Sample Sales/Exit Strategy

  • Partner with HQ to align on in store promotions/markdowns
  • Share promotional ideas for all holidays/events based on sales/ other competitor markdowns
  • Communicate with shopping center marketing to participate in events/opportunities
  • Own the planning and of corporate samples sales
  • Manage exit strategy of aging Outlet product and preparation for Jobbers etc.

SimonX

  • Addition of new product to their website after full seasonal allocation is complete

Partner with HQ for detailed document

Share all product images with SimonX team

  • Partner with participating SimonX store teams for on time processing/completion of all orders
  • Communication with SimonX team for new markdowns/participation in website promotions
Requirements

Education / Experience

  • Bachelors degree in related field and/or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years in a productspecific analytical role ideally within Planning/Allocation and a MultiChannel scope

Specific Skills

  • Knowledgeable of Seasonal Planning and Allocations
  • Highly proficient with using Excel to organize data in multiple formats and building smart templates with advanced formulas to semiautomate the refresh of data for reoccurring reports
  • Experienced in using PowerPoint to deliver a clear narrative and point of view with emphasis on content format and visual presentation
  • Astute at prompting good qualitative feedback from various teams and raising noteworthy points and probing questions as related to quantitative data points
  • Analytical skills process management preferred
  • Bilingual in Italian is a plus

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills comfortable presenting to all levels of the organization

The pay range for this position is $70000 $80000 per year based on applicable qualifications and experience.
