Job Description
Opportunity for a CSgt/SSgt to be the new CQMS for the South West Officer Training Regiment (SWOTR) in Bristol; a new organisation that encompasses both Bristol and Exeter UOTCs. Ideal for anyone with G4 experience whos looking to expand their portfolio or for a Sgt whos qualified for promotion and seeking employment as a CSgt/SSgt.
Domestic Considerations: 44 RSDs p.a. plus more where available and assistance is required. Some travel and overnight duty required along with 2 weeks ADX in Jun/Jul. Weekly Training Evenings (Tuesdays) based in Whiteladies Road Bristol during Term time and Training Weekends are mainly held at various locations across the South West.
Responsible to the QM and RQMS assisting in the delivery of all G4 support for SWOTR (BrUOTC) Training delivery facility management and safety.
Responsibilities:
1. Act as lead for all deployed G4 on deployed training weekends
2. Collect control and recover all accommodation for deployed training weekends if available.
3. Manage small teams to facilitate G4 Tasks in and out of Camp
4. Assist RQMS with G4 tasks and facilities management in Whiteladies Road Bristol on training evenings
5. Liaise with department heads and Training delivery teams to ensure logistical support is assured prior to deployment.
6. Liaise with department heads and Training delivery teams to ensure logistical support is delivered in the correct time and space both in and out of camp.
7. Assist the RQMS with ammunition issue and accounting and transportation if qualified.
8. Control the issue and use of ACTO items
9. Deputise for the RQMS in his absence when required
10. Support the RQMS in the delivery of all G4 logistical support to SWOTR
11. Act as a driver to support movement of stores equipment or people when deployed
MJDI TRAINED
AA STORES COURSE (AASM AACQMS or AARQMS)
DRIVING LICENCE CAT C
AA AMMUNITION STOREMAN
DANGEROUS GOODS AUTHORISED REP
Any other driving licenses incl forklift driver would be a benefit to the unit
