Job Description
Basecamp is a 9monthinternship/ gapyear program at Deer Run Camps & Retreats. This is a paidinternship opportunity for young adults ages 18 to 25 who may have an interestor a calling towards ministry and/or would like to receive training inChristian leadership.From August to May our internsare fully immersed in camp ministry serving in every department from camps andevents to housekeeping maintenance food service rec guest relations andmore. This allows our interns to gain experience in multiple areas of ministryand equips them for continued growth in leadership.Additionally our team pours inwith intentional times of discipleship as interns go through leadership bookstudies listen to and discuss podcasts attend conferences together andmemorize scripture together. Each intern is paired with a senior leader fromthe Deer Run team for weekly mentorship prayer and life conversations.Interns also engage in planning and participating in local and internationalmission trips.
Thisis nine months of intentional ministry missions discipleship and leadershiptraining. It is hard work with a lot of Jesus and a lot of fun!
