As a Senior Program Manager on the SSM team you will endtoend own develop maintain and continuously improve physical security provision from our vendors across EMEA. To achieve this goal you will pilot and expand security solutions and processes create standards and other specifications within the SSM team for implementation by the security services providers.
In addition you will support Security and Loss Prevention by acting upon performance related issues and activities concerning risk and other incidents within security services. You will also conduct audits to assess the performance of security service providers review and manage action plans to mitigate performance failures and risks created to storage logistics and distribution of Amazon products. Finally you will define and implement regional security standards with all security service providers.

* Match solutions to individual and business unit goals by creating standardized tools.
* Extract relevant information to support decision making.
* Ensure that data are of high quality and accuracy. Convert data into operational tooling to generate metrics and reports.
* Developing key input and output metrics associated with vendor success and other key impactdriving functions
* Inventing new strategies that will improve vendor performance and experience
* Identify assess track and mitigate issues and risks at all levels
* Identify opportunities and solutions for cost/benefit optimizations. Remain flexible to changing priorities open to new ideas and have Amazons success firmly in your focus
* Proactive engagement with business units. Find the link between business requirements and integration with our strategic partners and Security & Loss prevention

As a Senior Program Manager on the SSM team you will endtoend own develop maintain and continuously improve physical security provision from our vendors across EMEA. In addition you will support Security and Loss Prevention by acting upon performance related issues and activities concerning risk and other incidents within security services.
You will also conduct audits to assess the performance of security service providers review and manage action plans to mitigate performance failures and risks created to storage logistics and distribution of Amazon products. Finally you will define and implement regional security standards with all security service providers.
About the team
Working in partnership with our stakeholders Security and Loss Prevention secures the Amazon supply chain endtoend and promotes security during business conversations. Sitting within Security and Loss Prevention the SSM team does this by developing service delivery standards to impact and mitigate Security and Loss Preventionrelated risks and vulnerabilities within the physical security environment as early as possible. Continually assessing the programs and adjusting to support the everchanging operational requirements we deep dive root causes and embed standards and processes to improve productivity and prevent reoccurrence of incidents.
We also provide frameworks for standards to enable business units conduct their daily operational tasks whilst mitigating risks accordingly. To reach this goal we collect and consolidate information to evaluate vendor performance customer satisfaction and feedback from other stakeholders.
Collaborating with additional support function teams we assess the risk and develop programs to minimize potential impact. We also provide strategic tactical and operational programs for customers as well as stakeholders business needs and priorities by working closely with EMEA business leaders support functions and other security functions in a global framework.
A relevant degree or degree equivalent (e.g. business project management criminal justice)
Relevant advanced experience within European security provision logistics retail supply chain transportation security compliance or operations
Relevant advanced experience in commercial supply chain network from environments such as but not limited to fastmoving consumer goods pharmaceuticals tobacco or consumer electronics
Relevant experience working with the MS Office suite (Word Excel Outlook) in a professional environment
Upper intermediate proficiency in written and verbal English
Experience leading process improvements
Relevant industry certification (e.g. CPP TAPA ISO AEO CTPAT)
Lean Six Sigma certification (Black Belt) and/or relevant advanced experience
Relevant advanced experience in multisite/country environment managing security and loss prevention in logistics or transportation
Relevant advanced experience with conducting physical security risk assessments of different parts of the supply chain
Ability to interact with all levels of leadership within the organization to drive consensus regarding new solutions policies and procedures
