At VetPartners we pride ourselves on delivering shared services support that drives success for our veterinary clinics. This role features a hybrid work arrangement with four days in the office to promote collaboration build strong connections and enhance team engagement.
As an SQL Developer you will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining SQLbased solutions that support business intelligence reporting and analytics. You will work extensively with WhereScape Red ensuring seamless Extract Load and Transform (ELT) automation to deliver highquality accurate and efficient data solutions.
This role involves troubleshooting performance issues optimising SQL code and ensuring data integrity across various business systems. You will also collaborate closely with business stakeholders analysts application teams and thirdparty vendors to enhance data accessibility and usability for decisionmaking.
With a combination of technical expertise problemsolving skills and collaboration you will contribute to VetPartners mission of delivering datadriven insights that support veterinary professionals in providing the best care possible. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance the VetPartners Data Warehouse ensuring seamless data integration from multiple sources.
- Develop and optimize SQL code for various applications and reporting needs.
- Manage the ELT pipeline in WhereScape Red including build testing and deployment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data quality and performance issues.
- Provide technical expertise and consultation to analyst teams.
- Create and maintain technical documentation including database schemas and ETL processes.
- Conduct data integrity checks and support new system integrations.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to drive successful project outcomes.
- Offer mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
Skills Attributes and Experience:
- Experience with WhereScape Red or similar ETL automation tools.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server TSQL SSRS and relational database design.
- Familiarity with API development and integration.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies objectoriented and serviceoriented design.
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to work in both operational and projectbased environments.
- Tertiary qualifications in IT Information Management or a related field.
