ABOUT US

Tristate Empowered Communities (Tristate EC) is part of a national initiative with regional backbone organisations in 10 locations around the country connected by a national Empowered Communities team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Tristate EC is seeking a passionate and motivated Project Officer to help lead the Emerging Leaders program. This initiative supports Anangu leaders aged 2540 empowering them to take on governance and management roles within local communities councils and organisations across the Tristate NPY region (SA NT WA).

As a Project Officer you will work closely with the Tristate EC team to continue to develop and deliver the program. This includes codesigning the next phase of the curriculum and content with senior Anangu leaders program alumni service providers NIAA and other stakeholders.

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the empowerment of Indigenous leaders through capabilitybuilding and transformative leadership development.

ABOUT YOU

  • You will have experience designing and delivering communitybased leadership or capacitybuilding programs.
  • Strong organisational skills and time management.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with community leaders service providers and stakeholders.
  • Experience in recruitment participant support and mentoring for leadership development.
  • Skilled in monitoring evaluating and reporting on program outcomes and impact.
  • Ability to collaborate within a team design training and advocate for Indigenous leadership and cultural respect.
