Job Specification: Associate for Corporate and ProjectFinance Consulting and Advisory Services
Location: Johannesburg Republic of South Africa
Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated Associate to join our team inJohannesburg. This role involves working in corporate and project financeconsulting and advisory services focusing on delivering highquality financialand transactional solutions to clients. The successful candidate will play akey role in transaction delivery client interaction business development andproject management.
Key Responsibilities
Transaction Delivery and Project Management:
Develop and analyse highend complex financial models.
Conduct scenario and sensitivity analysis.
Ensure compliance with project documents and applicableaccounting & taxation principles.
Design and develop optimal solutions for clients.
Prepare comprehensive reports information memorandasummaries and presentations.
Understand the commercial and contractual implications ofvarious contracts specifically for Project Financing.
Coordinate with transaction teams and interact with clientsand stakeholders to support project development.
Client Interaction:
Engage with client teams to understand their requirements.
Adapt to clients changing needs and priorities under teamlead guidance.
Support the team in designing and developing clientfocusedsolutions.
Business Development:
Conduct research and analysis of sectors geographiesclients and competitors.
Write reports to generate business developmentopportunities.
Assist in preparing proposals for potential clients.
Qualifications and Skills
Masters in Finance or Chartered Accountant (CA).
CFA Level 3 preferred.
Fresh postgraduate or 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
Experience with international banks developers investorsfunds or similar financial and corporate advisory institutions is preferred.
Experience in infrastructure/project finance is anadvantage.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Advanced knowledge of financial modeling and Excel.
Basic understanding of finance and PublicPrivatePartnerships (PPP).
Ability to build strong client relationships.
Capacity to work in multicultural environments andmultidisciplinary teams.
Proficiency in English.
