The Role: Maintenance Manager Simulation

Join a dynamic team maintaining cuttingedge Collins Submarine Simulators at HMAS Stirling WA. As a Maintenance Manager youll conduct operations and maintenance management of two critical simulators supporting Navy training.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage simulator maintenance and site operations.
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturer and customer standards.
  • Lead train and develop a small team.
  • Maintain strong customer and stakeholder relationships.
  • Monitor and manage personnel performance and site compliance.
  • Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Collaborate with engineers to solve technical issues.

Your Skills Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualification in electronics IT or similar.
  • Leadership experience in a hightech environment.
  • Team leadership and problemsolving ability.
  • Managing the site team members to help them achieve their key accountabilities and responsibilities.
  • Willing to travel interstate on an infrequent basis 23 times/yr) for meetings or training.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a technical supervisor in an operational or workshop environment.

Highly Desirable Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience in simulation or other technical maintenance environment.
  • Navy
  • Training environment
