The Role: Maintenance Manager Simulation
Join a dynamic team maintaining cuttingedge Collins Submarine Simulators at HMAS Stirling WA. As a Maintenance Manager youll conduct operations and maintenance management of two critical simulators supporting Navy training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage simulator maintenance and site operations.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer and customer standards.
- Lead train and develop a small team.
- Maintain strong customer and stakeholder relationships.
- Monitor and manage personnel performance and site compliance.
- Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Collaborate with engineers to solve technical issues.
Your Skills Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualification in electronics IT or similar.
- Leadership experience in a hightech environment.
- Team leadership and problemsolving ability.
- Managing the site team members to help them achieve their key accountabilities and responsibilities.
- Willing to travel interstate on an infrequent basis 23 times/yr) for meetings or training.
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a technical supervisor in an operational or workshop environment.
Highly Desirable Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience in simulation or other technical maintenance environment.
- Navy
