Job Description

We are recruiting for a parttime 3 Days per week) rolefor aBusiness ServicesOfficer in our team(s) in Coventry. The role is to coverMonday and Friday while the 3rd day can be flexible.

Currently our office is near to Warwick University but we are soon moving to fantastic new facilities near Coventry Train Station.

We trust and empower colleagues to work in a hybrid way providing the resources equipment and support so that individually and collectively we can be the voice of children and young people when the family court makes critical decisions about their futures. Office attendance is required and this can vary each week.

Whilst this role is part of a team based from our office in Coventryyour proximity to the office doesnt always have to be a critical consideration.

Let us tell you a bit more about the role

As aBusiness Services Officeryou willcontribute to the effective and efficient management and progression of cases providing administrative support to the local Family Court Advisers and Service Managers.Should you join us your tasks will include:

  • monitoring case progression
  • receiving referrals from the Court or Cafcass Intake Team
  • create / update / close cases within our case management system
  • sending letters and information packs to service users
  • identify any missing information and followup as required
  • receive and deal with telephone enquiries
  • meet and greet visitors including service users
  • general admin support

  • A relevant qualification in business administration (e.g. NVQ2 a willingness to work towards to a qualification and/or significant experience in a similar role
  • Confident and capable of using MS Office applications to a basic / intermediate level
  • Clear confident communicator via email phone and in person
  • Someone who thrives working in a team
  • Able to prioritise work in a fastmoving environment with strict deadlines
