Job Title: Physical Education Teacher (with Coaching Duties) Location: Trinidad Independent School District Grade Level: PK 5th GradePosition Overview: Trinidad ISD is seeking a motivated and dedicated Physical Education teacher who is passionate about the physical mental and social development of young students. This individual will be responsible for fostering a positive and active learning environment for PK5th grade students and will also take on coaching duties promoting team building sportsmanship and a love for physical activity among students.Key Responsibilities:Teach physical education to students in grades PK5 focusing on fundamental movement skills fitness and teamwork.Develop lesson plans that are engaging ageappropriate and encourage physical activity and wellness.Foster a positive and inclusive environment where students feel safe to explore new activities.Provide coaching for extracurricular athletic programs promoting teamwork discipline and respect.Assess and monitor student progress providing regular feedback to ensure continuous growth.Communicate effectively with students parents and school staff about student development.Collaborate with colleagues to implement a schoolwide wellness initiative.Participate in professional development to continually improve teaching strategies and stay uptodate with current best practices.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Physical Education Kinesiology or related field (required).Certification in Physical Education (State of Texas certification required).Experience working with elementaryaged students is preferred.Coaching experience preferably in youth sports or school athletic programs is a plus.Strong communication organizational and motivational skills.Ability to create a positive engaging and supportive classroom environment.Passion for fostering the growth of young children both academically and athletically.How to Apply: Interested candidates are invited to complete an application (trinidadisd) and submit application to Michael Warren at Trinidad ISD is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
