Job Description

The role involves managing financial reporting (MIS) banking and treasury operations tax compliance audit coordination statutory compliances bookkeeping accounts finalization AR/AP management internal controls inventory transactions and the development of accounting policies and procedures.

The company introduced this technology with the establishment of its first manufacturing base in Daman (Union Territory of India) in 1998 followed by a second unit in Guwahati Assam (Eastern Region of India) and a third unit in Dadra. Continuously upgrading with new technologies the company focuses on customer satisfaction by being costeffective competitive and meeting the everexpanding demands and delivery schedules of its customers without compromising on quality. The company has a revenue size of 90100 Crs.

Responsibilities and Duties

Day to Day

  • Accounting Operations: Supervising and coordinating day to day accounting tasks.

  • Team Management: Leading training and developing accounting staff.

  • Prepare & Post accounting entries.

  • Adequate experience in Compliances under the Income Tax Act and GST etc. for giving assistance and advice in the day to day operations.

  • Maintaining Petty Cash


Monthly

  • Finalization of Inventory with physical stock.

  • Preparation of Stock Statement

  • Make report of Consumption of Raw Material to Production Quantity

  • Manage Sundry Creditors & Debtors based on the Credit Limit fixed

  • Ensure timely Collections and payments as per the MSME norms

  • Sales Order Processing

  • Purchase Order Processing

  • Monitoring / Compiling of Company Credit / Debit note on monthly basic.

  • Financial MIS reporting

  • Adequate experience in Labour Law for Payroll Processing PF and other related Compliances comes under the Law.


Yearly

  • Maintain accurate records of fixed assets including tracking depreciation and disposals.

  • Finalization of inventory.

  • Ensuring compliance as per the Company laws and regulations and maintaining Government policies and procedures.




Requirements

Knowledge and Skills (Must Have)

  • Proficiency in tax laws financial reporting and audit coordination.

  • Strong understanding of compliances related to direct and indirect taxes.

  • Advanced skills in accounting software and financial systems.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage and lead a team effectively.


Additional Notes

The candidate must have at least 5 years of experience in handling accounts for a plant or manufacturing unit. This role requires a highly organized individual with a strong background in financial management within the manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to improving processes and driving efficiency within the accounting function.
