Job Description
- Join our Derby based team making a difference in rural and remote communities.
- Provide frontline student and academic support across regional WA.
- Parttime 0.5 FTE) appointment on an 18 month fixedterm basis.
- Base salary range: $80243 $88940 p.a. (prorata) plus 17 superannuation.
About the area
The Rural Clinical School of Western Australia (RCSWA) is part of the UWA Medical School and spans more than 3500km across multiple regional and remote sites in WA. Our Academic Services team works collaboratively to support academic staff students and medical coordinators across these diverse locations. The team is committed to responsive service delivery continuous improvement and contributing to the schools educational and strategic goals.
About the opportunity
- Provide highlevel administrative support for the delivery of medical education programs across multiple regional sites.
- Act as a local point of contact for students and staff supporting program coordination and daytoday academic operations.
- Contribute to an engaged collaborative and supportive team environment that values initiative and quality service.
About you
- A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in an administrative support role.
- Proficiency in office systems and technologies including word processing spreadsheets databases and email.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with a commitment to customer service.
- Initiative sound judgment and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Special Requirements
- Occasional travel may be required to support activities at other RCSWA sites.
