About the Job:
Our Cybersecurity Threats Analyst Platforms and Tools team delivers forwardleaning security solutions that assist in preventing detecting and responding to internal and external threats.
We are seeking an experienced technologist in this role that will detailoriented System Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software systems through rigorous testing processes. This role requires a strong understanding of testing methodologies automation excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a geographically distributed team.
This professional must have a broader understanding of Cyber Security. The individual in this role must be highly organized and able to manage various stakeholder requests as they arise with strong multitasking skills and technical acumen. In addition the professional must also be able to assist mentor team members in the designated areas of responsibility.

Responsibilities Include:
- Test Platform Engineering and Automation: Develop a dedicated test platform for all aspects of testing.
- Create a testing methodology using automation where possible
- Investigate opportunities to integrate with existing AT&T CI/CD pipelines.
- Document requirements for successful software and platform testing and data analysis/QA.
- Determine and implement appropriate Hosts/VMs tools for testing scripts/test automation tools etc.
- Determine appropriate data sources for testing without using production data for testing purposes.
- Test Planning and Design:
- Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on software requirements and specifications.
- Design automated and manual test scripts to ensure thorough coverage of software functionality.
- Test :
- Execute test cases and document results.
- Perform regression performance security and functional testing to identify and resolve defects.
- Conduct endtoend system testing to validate integration and data flow across various modules.
- Defect Management:
- Identify document and track defects using defect management tools.
- Work closely with developers to reproduce issues provide detailed bug reports and verify fixes.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including developers data analysts product managers and other testers to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Participate in meetings with development and platform stakeholders and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Reporting:
- Generate detailed test reports and metrics to communicate testing progress and quality status to stakeholders.
- Provide recommendations for improvement based on test results and analysis.
Required skills:
- Overall At least 8 years of experience of software testing automation and engineering experience with Cyber Security tools and platforms
- Broader understanding of Cyber Security
- Proficiency in test management tools (e.g. JIRA TestRail).
- Strong knowledge of automated testing frameworks (e.g. Katalon Selenium QTP JUnit).
- Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g. Python JavaScript) for test automation.
- Basic knowledge of cyber security concepts Docker Swarm Linux administration and networking fundamentals.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and associated methodologies.
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g. LoadRunner JMeter) is a plus.
- Experience working in an environment where coordination with multiple teams is essential to success.
- Ability to prioritize individual/group work in a highactivity and timebound environment.
- Flexible to provide coverage in US morning hours on a needbasis and as required.
- Strong written verbal and presentation skills
Desirable skills:
- Bachelors or Masters in Computer Sciences Engineering
- Testing debugging and documentation skills
- Knowledge of database querying and MySQL.
- Knowledge of common system and software testing tools such as:
- Test Management Tools such as JIRA TestRail HP ALM (Application Lifecycle Management)
- Automation Testing Tools such as Katalon/Selenium QTP/UFT (Unified Functional Testing) Appium
- Performance Testing Tools such as JMeter LoadRunner
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) Tools such as Jenkins Travis CI CircleCI
- Defect Tracking Tools such as Bugzilla Redmine
- Static Code Analysis Tools such as SonarQube Checkmarx
- Virtualization and Containerization such as Docker Kubernetes
- Service Virtualization Tools ushc as WireMock Parasoft Virtualize
- Test Data Management Tools such as Informatica Delphix.
- BehaviorDriven Development (BDD) Tools such as Cucumber SpecFlow
- OpenAPI Testing Tools such as Postman Swagger Inspector RestAssured Karate DSL Dredd
- Experience with tools such as VS Code Copilot ChatGPT etc. is a plus.
