Job Title: Audio/Video Department Manager /Wirecore Manager
Reports to: Des Moines Branch Manager
Direct Reports: All department employees

We are currently looking for a skilled Audio/Video Department Manager to join our team and help lead and enhance our A/V operations. This role will involve overseeing the design installation and maintenance of audio and visual systems ensuring the highest level of quality and service for our clients. As part of the management team you will play a key role in coordinating projects managing a talented team and driving the success of our A/V department.

Job Summary:
Responsible for perpetuating the core values of Team Kline Inc. This involves committing to greatness embracing and driving change creating wealth through profits and growth building a positive team and family environment and creating remarkable experiences for employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary contact for all project activities from planning to monitoring.
  • Develop detailed project plans including timelines budgets and milestones.
  • Oversee daily team activities addressing issues as they arise.
  • Secure relationships with builders and ensure timely responses to estimates.
  • Drive customer service to achieve complete satisfaction and conduct postproject reviews for feedback.
  • Oversee daily billings and collaborate on AIA billings.
  • Track project expenses and prepare accurate billing including timely invoices and change orders.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations.
  • Enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Plan and order materials in a timely manner and allocate resources efficiently.
  • Assess and develop programs to enhance the skill level of employees to meet customer demands.
  • Maintain comprehensive project records and prepare progress reports for the Branch Manager.
  • Represent Wirecore at social events and trade organizations.

Minimum Requirements:
  • 5 years in Audio/Video project management.
  • Extensive Knowledge of Audio/Video and Residential Data
  • High school diploma required; technical degree or bachelors preferred.
  • Proficiency in project management software (Dtools preferred but not required) and safety regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Proactive in identifying and resolving issues.

Physical Demands:
  • Ability to occasionally stand walk sit use hands reach climb stairs balance stoop kneel crouch or crawl as needed in various work environments.
  • Capacity to talk hear taste or smell as required for the job.
  • Occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds with assistance available for heavier objects.
  • Adequate vision abilities including close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
  • Exposure to various weather conditions including heat cold and precipitation depending on project locations.
  • Work in environments with moderate noise levels such as construction sites.
