At D1 Training Huntington Beach we strive to deliver the best possible fitness experience visit after visit! As part of our Membership Sales team youll play an essential role in introducing our local community to the benefits of membership and will be one of the first faces theyll meet so a great personality is key!
As our Membership Consultant youll generate revenue and cultivate great experiences by creating excitement about our programs and community generate new membership sales and achieve preset membership targets. Under the indirect supervision of the General Manager youll manage daily membership prospecting and sales daily membershiprelated tasks and building relationships with prospective new and existing members.

Must not be afraid and actually enjoy making 50 calls a day.
Position Accountabilities
- Membership Sales (including services products and programs)
- Membership Billing & Recordkeeping
- Membership Database (CMS POS CRM etc.
- Customer Service (friendly clean helpful problem resolution resourceful)
- Information Hub (knowledge of all programs services products and promos)
- Member Relations (relationship building social media outreach etc.
- D1 Training Huntington Beach Sales Processes (exhibit proficiency in all D1 Training Huntington Beach sales processes)
Primary Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Appointment Booking
Follow D1 Training Huntington Beach sales process to achieve on a daily basis standards and targets as set by the General Manager with regards to Key Performance Indicators including but not limited to:
- Calls to Appointment
- Completed Sales Calls
- Member Referrals
- Prospective Followup
- New Lead Generation
Schedule and perform consistent daily follow up with newly generated leads via phone text and email as part of our Sales Process; generate appointment leads and manage personal appointment schedules.
Guest Tours Membership Presentation & Personal Management
Maintains information on D1 Training Huntington Beach and club history background philosophy facilities staff policies and sales process.
Conduct informative tours of the fitness studio to educate prospective members on the D1 Training Huntington Beach equipment programs and membership options best suited to their individual needs and fitness goals.
Monitor track and report membership sales data daily and weekly to ensure targets are on track and achieved; includes reviewing detailed weekly and monthly membership reports for the purposes of target tracking and course correcting if necessary. Reports and other data as required by General Manager may include:
- New sales compared to target
- Inactive Members
- Monthly retention trends
- Cancellations compared to target
- Monthly totals for holds and freezes and
- Rationale for cancellations
Directly manage sales efforts through immediate follow up to prospective member inquiries generated inperson over the phone online via promotional events and social media marketing outlets.
Coordinate and manage membership sales efforts through offsite and onsite marketing efforts; including but not limited to promotional booths lead boxes distributing flyers building businesstobusiness relationships and attendance at community events.
Exhibit proficiency in the areas of CRM systems the D1 Training Huntington Beach Orientation Process Sales Process New Member Onboarding and New Member Followup Process; including but not limited to:
- Entering and processing all membership applications and payments taking new member pictures entering all applicable discounts ensuring all new member materials are provided and other duties and required.
Member Retention & Satisfaction
Develop membership growth and retention strategies with the General Manager and Membership Sales team including but not limited to promotional signage mailers member events and social media campaigns for new promotions throughout the year.
Team Production & Goal Setting
Produce and review with General Manager individual monthly sales plans necessary to develop strategies to achieve preset sales targets.
Responsible for the administration of membership paperwork and CRM database upkeep to ensure all member information is protected processed and recorded to Company standard.
Provide immediate feedback on the performance of marketing and promotional campaigns; leads strategy development to ensure these performance targets and monthly goals are met.
Maintain a positive relationship with all staff and supports other staff in achieving their goals.
Attend daily and weekly sales meetings (as required) to discuss relevant information pertaining to membership sales with the General Manager and Membership Sales team.
Complete cross training and exhibit proficiency with Front Desk Attendant duties; perform Front Deskrelated tasks and responsibilities as required by General Manager.
