Job Description & Summary

PwCs Cloud Computing and Networking practice helps our clients transform their business through innovative technology solutions and effective IT Service Management. Part of that journey includes helping our clients enable innovation reinventing their customer experience and exploring new markets.

You will be immersed in a variety of different projects groups and locations while getting inspired through your community to grow as an individual as well as a team. We seek an experienced and forwardthinking AI Architect to join our rapidly expanding AWS Alliance team. This role is crucial in designing and delivering cuttingedge AI solutions that drive our clients success. In this role you will play a pivotal part in designing developing and maintaining AIrelated projects enabling our clients to deploy advanced analytics and AI models. Your expertise will transform business requirements and vast datasets into AI solutions empowering our clients to achieve their business goals.

Meaningful work youll be part of

Delivering Solutions:

  • Requirements Gathering and Solutioning:

    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements providing clear project direction and prioritization.

    • Identify customer pain points & objectives relevant KPIs and articulate solution impact.

    • Conduct discovery sessions analyze requirements and design solutions.

    • Work with the delivery team to review solution designs.

  • Technology Lead/SME:

    • Lead project planning and delivery activities ensuring alignment with business objectives timelines and quality standards.

    • Identify manage and resolve any risks issues and blockers.

    • As the SME on AWS AI technologies serve as technical lead on customer engagements and internal initiatives providing technical guidance and leadership to delivery teams.

    • Providing leadership on engagements including balancing team and individual responsibilities; building teams and consensus; getting things done through others not directly under their supervision; and working ethically and with integrity.

    • Stay embedded with the AI delivery teams to understand functional and nonfunctional requirements remove roadblocks and analyze feasibility.

    • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the team.

    • Identify areas for improvement and increase the productivity of the Delivery team.

  • Best Practices:

    • Ensure the development of robust scalable AI solutions by providing technical oversight and aligning with AWS best practices.

    • Establish and maintain best practices for engagement delivery and leverage frameworks consistent with and supportive of the AWS AI technologies and architectural approach.

    • Promote and ensure delivery teams adherence to Agile methodology and Scrum framework.

  • Communication & reporting:

    • Establish and ensure regular and effective communication with all required stakeholders translating complex AI concepts into understandable insights and updates.

    • Implement mechanisms to monitor manage and provide progress on all engagement activities and team performance and establish regular reporting to leadership.

Supporting Data and AI Practices Growth and Operational Excellence:

  • Hiring: Participate in interviews and other recruiting activities to ensure the hiring of the highest quality candidates.

  • Sales: Support sales activities by meeting with potential customers discovering and validating requirements presenting solutions presenting our teams capabilities and offerings performing technical validation and reviewing Statements of Work (SoWs).

  • Marketing & Brand Building: Participate in events e.g. re:Invent AWS Summits etc. produce thought leadership content (e.g. blogs whitepapers) and develop demos.

  • Coaching and Mentoring: Coaching and mentoring diverse people and perspectives.

Learning:

  • Maintains an indepth knowledge of AWS cloud data and AIrelated technologies and can articulate best practice approaches and practices.

  • Maintain knowledge of various data and AIrelated compliance and industry regulations to ensure consistent compliance with policies standards and tools and consistent enforcement with clients.

Experience and skills youll use to solve

  • AI Expertise:

    • Expert knowledge of AIML and GenAI concepts and methodologies including supervised unsupervised semisupervised selfsupervised online and transfer learning for tasks such as classification regression and clustering.

    • Expert knowledge in natural language processing computer vision statistical modelling.

    • Expert knowledge in the ML development cycle and best practices captured by AWS WellArchitected Framework ML Lens.

  • Leadership: Demonstrable experience in consulting architecting/solution and leading multiworkstream AI engagements in an enterprise setting.

  • AWS AI: Expert knowledge in AWS AI MLOps and LLMOps technologies

  • AI Expertise:

    • Advanced knowledge of SQL language proficiency with Python Jupyter and popular Stat and ML libraries (e.g. scikitlearn Pandas and Keras

    • Advanced knowledge in code repositories code development processes and code reviews.

  • AWS Infrastructure & Data:

    • Expert knowledge in AWS infrastructure technologies relevant to AI such as CDK CloudFormation AWS Step Functions EC2 and IAM.

    • Advanced knowledge in Data integration data ingestion and data processing across structured and unstructured data sources along with various enterprise applications

    • Advanced knowledge in AWS data technologies relevant to AI such as AWS Glue Amazon Athena Amazon QuickSight Amazon Relational Databases Amazon EMR AWS CleanRooms Amazon Redshift AWS LakeFormation Snowflake Databricks etc..

    • Familiarity with modern data architecture and platforms such as cloud data mesh data lakehouse delta lake and data warehousing.

  • ProblemSolving: Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.

  • Autonomy: Ability to work independently and in a team.

  • Learning: An interest in continuously upskilling for a digitalfirst world and embracing technology trends an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work.   • Education: Bachelors degree in a quantitative field (Computer Science Machine Learning Operational Research Statistics). A masters or PhD degree in a relevant field is a bonus.
