We are seeking a dedicated Early Career Teacher (ECT) of Geography to join our school in September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your teaching skills in a supportive environment committed to academic excellence.
Salary: 338766 (Inner London pay scale)
Geography ECT Role & Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons for Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
- Foster a curiosity for global issues sustainability and human and physical geography.
- Monitor student progress and provide targeted support.
- Work closely with colleagues and your ECT mentor to develop best practices.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities such as Geography clubs and field trips.
- Follow school policies on safeguarding behaviour and curriculum delivery.
Geography ECT Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or pending completion of Initial Teacher Training.
- Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Geography.
- Commitment to student welfare and promoting a positive learning environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
