Position Summary: The Mental Health Consultant is responsible for the provision and coordination of mental health services for an assigned caseload. The consultant will work with both parents and staff to enhance their awareness and understanding of mental wellness and its impact on children and families. This position aims to improve the ability of staff families programs and systems to prevent identify treat and reduce impact of mental health problems among children and their families.
Job Type: Full Time Program Year NonExempt
Expected Schedule: MF 8:00a 4:30p
Rate of Pay: MA or higher $28.67 /hr
Education Requirement: Minimum Limited Licensed Master of Social Work (LLMSW) with Michigan Licensure. Preferred Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW) with Michigan Licensure.
Other Selection Criteria:All candidates must possess a valid drivers license and their own reliable transportation complete a physical examination comprehensive fingerprinted criminal background check and preemployment drug screen including a negative result for Amphetamines Cannabinoids (including /THC) Opiates and Phencyclidine (PCP). is not legal at the federal level and is prohibited in the workplace or in ones system even if legally prescribed.
