I. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

Texas Department of Public Safety requires the services of 1 Database Administrator 3 hereafter referred to as Candidate(s) who meets the general qualifications of Database Administrator 3 Data/Database Administration and the specifications outlined in this document for the Texas Department of Public Safety.


Provide application support to include analysis off application functions data processing resolving data corrections to ensure agency services maintain functions. Position may edit and correct existing applications and/or develop new solutions to remedy situations that may arise. Create support documentation where applicable to define new and existing software.
Hours are to be between 4050 hours per week MondayFriday from 9:00 AM 4:00 PM CST. Work location will be hybrid with one 1 day a month in the office.

II. CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements:
Candidates that do not meet or exceed the minimum stated requirements (skills/experience) will be displayed to customers but may not be chosen for this opportunity.
Years Required/ Preferred Experience 8 Required DB2 Database Experience 3 Required AIX/Unix/Linux Platform Experience 3 Required Shell Programming/Scripting Experience 5 Preferred DB2 Z/OS
