We are seeking a
Consultant/Specialist Geriatrician to join a multidisciplinary team, providing comprehensive care for older adults across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings. This role offers a balance of clinical service, teaching, quality improvement, and service development opportunities.

You will play a key role in:- Delivering high-quality, patient-centred care in geriatric medicine, including acute geriatrics, orthogeriatrics, cognitive assessment, and rehabilitation.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across General Medicine, Rehabilitation, and Community Health.
- Leading and participating in multidisciplinary case conferences and discharge planning.
- Supporting junior doctors, medical students, and allied health professionals through supervision and education.
About You: You are a specialist Geriatrician with a passion for holistic, person-centred care. You bring excellent communication skills, a collaborative spirit, and a commitment to continuous improvement in clinical care and outcomes for older adults.
Essential Criteria:
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in Geriatric Medicine or equivalent.
- Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA).
- Demonstrated experience and interest in comprehensive geriatric assessment, cognitive health, and multidisciplinary team care.
- Experience in teaching and quality improvement activities.
