Job Description
Job Summary:
The Housekeeper at Lantern Crest Senior Living is responsible for maintaining a clean sanitary and comfortable environment for the residents and guests of the senior living community. This is a fulltime hourly position in Santee California and the role is an individual contributor.

Responsibilities:
Perform general cleaning tasks such as vacuuming dusting mopping and polishing in designated areas including resident apartments common areas and offices.
Ensure all areas are kept free of debris litter and spills.
Clean sanitize and restock restrooms including toilets sinks and showers.
Handle laundry including washing drying and folding linens and personal items.
Strip make beds and change linens in resident apartments.
Restock and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and toiletries.
Communicate and report any maintenance or safety issues to appropriate team members.
Follow established safety procedures and regulations.
Provide exceptional customer service to residents and guests addressing any concerns or requests promptly and professionally.
Adhere to infection control and OSHA standards to ensure the safety of residents and employees.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 1 year of housekeeping experience preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting.
Knowledge of cleaning techniques materials and equipment.
Ability to read write and communicate effectively in English.
Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Ability to lift push and pull up to 50 lbs. and perform physical activities such as bending kneeling and reaching.
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
