Job Description
PLEASE NOTE: This internship must be preapproved by the College/University and the District
Departments that may be hiring for summer interns are: Teaching Learning & Leadership (TLL) and Warehouse.
Primary Purpose:
Responsible for performing a variety of duties in assigned department.
Experience / Other Requirements:
Current Comal ISD student or recently graduated Comal ISD student preferred.
Special Knowledge / Skills:
- Knowledge of personal computers to include experience using word processing and spreadsheet software.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Tact diplomacy and discretion required in all matters.
- Able to follow all district policies to include the district confidentiality and privacy policy.
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
- Participates in projects as assigned by the Department Director.
- Spends time with department staff to learn about the different functions within the department.
- Other duties as assigned.
