Company OverviewMystic Valley Regional Charter School is a public charter school located in Malden Massachusetts serving over 1600 students from kindergarten through grade 12. Our school operates across four campuses in Malden:Kindergarten: 576 Eastern AvenueLower School (Grades 18: 770 Salem StreetHigh School (Grades 912: 238 & 306 Highland AvenueMystic Valley primarily enrolls students from Everett Malden Medford Melrose Stoneham and Wakefield. Committed to academic excellence the school follows an extended day and extended school year model with classes running from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM during a 200day school year.Job SummaryMystic Valley Regional Charter School is seeking dedicated and collaborative educators who are committed to continuous improvement and student success. Teachers at Mystic Valley play an integral role in shaping a rigorous and supportive learning environment.Responsibilities:Develop and implement engaging curricula aligned with academic standards.Design and administer assessments to monitor student progress and inform instruction.Utilize assessment data to refine curriculum and enhance teaching strategies.Collaborate with gradelevel teams on curriculum development and schoolwide initiatives.Maintain a structured and positive classroom environment with clear expectations for student behavior.Foster strong relationships with students families and colleagues through effective communication.Participate in a threeweek annual staff orientation and training.Qualifications:Passion for education and a commitment to student success.Proven track record of high achievement in the classroom.Expertise and enthusiasm for teaching History.Strong selfmotivation and ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
