Job Description
TechoBloc is seeking a reliable and organized Yard Coordinator to support the daily operations of our Vaughan Depot. In this handson role youll be responsible for managing the flow of materials in and out of the yard coordinating forklift operators and ensuring that all processes run safely smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily yard operations including receiving storing and shipping of product
- Coordinate and support forklift operators in preparing and loading orders
- Ensure all shipments and documentation follow company policies
- Maintain accurate inventory and perform cycle counts as needed
- Act as the main onsite contact for internal teams and external partners
- Keep the yard clean organized and compliant with safety regulations
- Support product replenishment and general yard upkeep
Qualifications :
What You Bring to the Role:
- Certification & Experience:
- Proven experience operating a forklift in an outdoor yard environment
- Valid drivers license
- High school diploma or equivalent; 57 years of relevant experience preferred
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Highly organized with strong time management and planning abilities
- Able to work independently in a fastpaced outdoor environment
- Detailoriented with experience in inventory control and counts
- Professional customerfocused and safetyconscious
- Technical Skills:
- Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word Excel) inventory systems and internetbased tools
- Solid math skills including the ability to calculate areas percentages and apply basic algebra/geometry
- Language Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents procedures and reports
- Capable of drafting business correspondence and clearly communicating with internal teams vendors and customers

This is a physically demanding position. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds 23kg). Manual dexterity teamwork handeye coordination and a combination of sitting standing and walking required.
