Job Description
Exclusive to TPF Recruitment Our client is a wellestablished chartered accountancy practice based in Rochester. They are seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant (Practice) to join their team. The successful candidate will ideally be studying the AAT or be AAT qualified with a minimum of 12 years experience in practice or qualified by experience.
Within this position the successful candidate will be given excellent opportunities to progress within their technical ability and career while working with a supportive team around them. They will also be offered AAT/ ACCA/ ACA study support for the future the opportunity to work a hybrid working pattern and a highly competitive remuneration package.
Our client services a range of local ownermanaged businesses from sole traders through to Ltd companies and partnerships.
- Preparation of or support with bookkeeping and management accounts for a variety of clients
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Supporting with statutory accounts preparation
- Preparation of corporate tax personal tax and CIS returns
- Supporting the directors with adhoc advisory work
This is a really exciting opportunity for an Assistant Accountant (Practice) to be part of a modern forwardthinking and supportive chartered accountancy practice in Rochester.
Requirements
For this Assistant Accountant (Practice) position you will be:
- You will be AAT qualified or part qualified or qualified by experience
- You will have a minimum of 2 years experience within practice.
- Experience of cloud software such as Xero Sage or QuickBooks would be advantageous.
