Job Description
This is a remote position.
Main Responsibilities:
Design and development of molding and cutting tools in line with defined product materials and technical specifications.
Ensure compliance with IATF16949 ISO 14001 ISO 27001 and OHSAS 18001 standards.
Develop and validate tooling concepts for extrusion molding and finishing operations (cutting bending etc..
Perform CFD and FEM analysis 2D/3D static and thermal) for tool and process optimization.
Prepare and validate technical documentation (drawings technical dossiers BoM FMEA APQP).
Monitor schedules for tool development and ensure timely completion of work resources.
Oversee tool transfer to site and ensure proper handover and documentation.
Coordinate control gauge design and implementation.
Identify characteristic defects and define corrective procedures.
Support continuous improvement through PARETO analysis R&R and quality tools.
Requirements
Required Skills:
Experience in molding tool design cutting tool design and finishing operations.
Proficient in 3D CAD software especially CATIA (CatPart Surface Design 3dA).
Knowledge of GD&T and OEM manufacturing standards.
Strong understanding of polymer processing materials and production machinery (extrusion vertical molding finishing machines like F2F TLM SBM).
Experience in DFMEA Design to Cost and BoM preparation.
Familiarity with quality assurance methodologies including APQP FMEA and R&R.
Ability to manage technical schedules and evaluate final tooling documentation.
Languages: Portuguese and English (both fluent).
