Develop curriculum lesson plans and learning materials in alignment with institutional standards and industry requirements.
Guide and mentor students in their academic and professional development including research projects and assignments.
Evaluate and grade student work providing constructive feedback for improvement.
Stay updated with advancements in applied sciences and integrate them into teaching methodologies.
Promote a culture of quality and compliance with regulatory standards in science education.
Support the management of laboratory operations ensuring safety and efficiency in practical sessions.
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- A Master s or Ph.D. degree in Applied Sciences or a related field.
- Proven experience in teaching or training within the field of applied sciences and laboratory techniques.
- Strong knowledge of the modules listed and their practical applications in industry and research.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and colleagues.
- Proficiency in scientific data analysis and use of laboratory equipment.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Familiarity with HND quality assurance standards and regulatory practices in applied sciences.
