Job Description

Southside School District is seeking a secondary math teacher who will provide instruction to students developing their mathematical understanding problemsolving skills and critical thinking.

Essential Duties and Responsibilites:

  • Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with thestate standards.
  • Teach fundamental and advanced math concepts.
  • Utilize differentiated instructionto meet the needs of diverse learners including special education and gifted students.
  • Integrate technology and handson activities to enhance student engagement.
  • Assess student learning through formative and summative assessments adjusting instruction as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate with parents/guardians regularly.
  • Establish and maintain a classroom culture of respect collaboration and high expectations
  • Participate in professional development and stay updated on best practices in math education.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues administrators and support staff to ensure student success.
  • Uphold school policies state regulations and ethical teaching practices.
