Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Minimize shutdown time by planning and controlling allocated tasks as requested by the engineering manager
- Participate in investigating and taking corrective actions in the event of instrument failures and/incidents
- Ensure that LMDC safety policy is applies by executing scheduled plant inspections
- Ensure installation and maintenance of plant control systems
- Provide input to project coordinators in terms of control system requirements
- Implement appropriate technological control solutions to ensure optimal process control efficiency
- Ensure that control installations are configured according to appropriate standards and procedures
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- National Technical Diploma in Engineering
- Registered as a Professional Engineering Technician with ECSA
- Instrument mechanician trade test certificate
- 6 8 years experience in a plant mining environment
