Description

Streamline is looking for an empathetic organized and customerobsessed Account Manager to join our growing Sales team. In this role youll be responsible for proactively managing a portfolio of special district customers driving product adoption ensuring customer satisfaction and supporting longterm retention and growth. This is not a traditional sales role. Our account managers are trusted advisors having valueadd conversations with customers focused on product education relationshipbuilding and helping customers maximize the value from our platform. Youll play a critical role in supporting customer outcomes uncovering product insights and guiding districts through important transitions like product upgrades or price changes.


What Youll Do

  • Drive Customer Retention and Value
    • Schedule and host Value Control Meetings to ensure customers are getting the most from their Streamline services.
    • Monitor account health and prioritize outreach to customers showing signs of churn or inactivity.
    • Leverage our customer outreach list (based on renewal date price increase timelines MRR etc. to guide your monthly workflow.
  • Educate and Advocate
    • Help districts understand the value of our products like Community Pro Operations Pro and Amplify.
    • Translate complex feature sets into practical benefits tailored to each districts unique needs.
    • Showcase new platform capabilities especially those aligned with compliance transparency and communication.
  • Support Strategic Upgrades
    • Identify opportunities to upgrade customers to highertier packages based on their needs and readiness.
    • Provide feedback to the Product team about customer challenges desires or missing functionality.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure upgrades are smooth timely and valuable.
  • Coordinate Pricing Transitions
    • Conduct proactive checkins 6 months before any contract renewal.
    • Act as the customers advocate during pricing conversations focusing on education and longterm value.

Requirements

What Youll Have:

  • 25 years of Account Management Sales or consultative sales experience in a SaaS or B2B environment including upsells/upgrades and contract renewal discussions
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to balance customer empathy with business outcomes.
  • Highly organized and comfortable managing hundreds of accounts with varied needs and timelines in a CRM (Hubspot a plus)
  • Strong curiosity and desire to learn about product functionality and new releases.
  • Confidence in leading virtual meetings and building relationships over Zoom and email.


Bonus Points For:

  • Experience working with public agencies or understanding of compliance requirements (e.g. ADA Brown Act).
  • Experience working with government entities nonprofits or missiondriven organizations is a plus.
  • Passion for supporting local government and communityfocused organizations.
  • Experience launching new products and successfully getting existing customers to purchase new products.
Salary Description
$110000$160000 OTE (based on experience)
