SUMMARY:

Provide students staff and public with a safe clean and operational environment to learn and develop.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for unlocking and locking facilities after school hours and ensuring each facility is secure.
  • Completes and maintains a daily log of activities.
  • Enforces district safety and facility use policies and procedures and reports any abuse misuse or unauthorized use of school property to the proper authorities.
  • Reports any breakins vandalism etc. to local police authorities and appropriate principal or department head.
  • Establishes and maintains good rapport with students employees community members and vendors.
  • Maintains a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality.
  • Other job related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

LICENSING AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Obtain and maintain a valid Arizona Identity Verified Prints IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (AZ IVP FPCC).
  • Possession of a valid appropriate drivers license at time of appointment and throughout employment. Proof of current auto liability insurance at time of appointment and throughout employment. Personal transportation for jobrelated travel.

  • Utilizing communication and interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers supervisors the general public and others to sufficiently exchange or convey information and to receive work direction.


ADA AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Positions in this class typically require: climbing balancing stooping kneeling crouching crawling reaching standing walking pushing pulling lifting fingering grasping feeling talking hearing seeing and repetitive motions.

Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 25 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Working Conditions:

Work is performed in both the field and in an indoor office environment with moderate exposure to hazardous physical conditions (such as mechanical parts electrical currents vibration etc.; moderate exposure to atmospheric conditions (such as fumes odors dusts gases poor ventilation etc.; moderate exposure to hazardous materials (such as chemicals blood and other body fluids); and moderate exposure to extreme temperatures inadequate lighting movement restrictions and intense noise.
