The UHealthUniversity of Miami Health System IT Department has an opportunity for a fulltime Epic Senior AnalystMy Chart.
The Epic Senior AnalystMy Chart initiates the implementation builds and modifies complex applications and collaborates with key stakeholders endusers and application team members to optimize the applications configuration function and access. The incumbent supports junior staff members in daytoday operations and resolving application issues.
Core Responsibilities:
Collaborates with key stakeholders endusers and application team members to optimize the applications configuration function and access.
Serves as a primary support contact for application endusers.
Initiates the design development implementation and maintenance of the application.
Initiates all phases of testing and the documentation of workflow design.
Performs the analysis of information technology in clinical work processes and validates the impacts to the workflow.
Initiates the identification of issues and guides the work to resolve them.
Supports junior staff members in the evaluation and resolution of service tickets identification and implementation of application changes retrieval of requested data and of daytoday operations.
Collaborates with trainers on application changes and new features to develop documentation and training strategies.
Works with stakeholders the business community and end users to ensure the application meets UHealths business/clinical needs.
Participates in oncall rotations and support and attend and participates in applicable committees.
Maintains regular communication with team members including participating in weekly project team meetings.
Reviews the status of projects and issues on an ongoing basis with leadership.
Remains knowledgeable about UHealths policies procedures and business operations.
Adheres to University and unitlevel policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.
Department Specific Functions:
As an Epic Senior Analyst MyChart/Care Everywhere/EpicCare Link you will report to the Senior Manager and will be responsible for:
Providing oversight and leadership to Associate Epic Analysts and Epic Analysts on the team
Initiating the implementation build and modification of the application
Collaborating with key stakeholders endusers and application team members to optimize the applications configuration function and access
Supporting junior staff members in daytoday operations and resolving application issues.
As an Epic Senior Analyst MyChart/Care Everywhere/EpicCare Link you will:

Perform the analysis of new releases and validate the impacts to the workflow
Initiate the identification of issues and guide the work to resolve them
Support junior staff members in the evaluation and resolution of service tickets identification and implementation of application changes retrieval of requested data and of daytoday operations
Collaborate with trainers on application changes and new features to develop documentation and training strategies
Work with stakeholders business community and end users to ensure the application meets UHealths business/clinical needs

Become knowledgeable about UHealths policies procedures and business operations

CORE QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree in relevant field
Epic MyChart Care Everywhere and EpicCare Link Certifications required
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience preferably in healthcare or healthcarerelated organization
Previous operational project management and organizational skills preferred
Familiarity with legal requirements and operational policies related to patient and family privacy practices preferred
Familiarity with current outside organization connection strategy preferred
Familiarity with community clinic relationships and how those groups interact (referrals discharge to SNF lab ordering surgery scheduling etc. preferred.
Familiarity with the nonclinical external groups that need to access information about certain patients and why they need the information preferred.
Ability to work evenings nights and weekends as necessary.
Proficiency in computer software i.e. Microsoft Office).
Ability to recognize analyze and solve a variety of problems.
Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
Ability to lead motivate develop and train others.
Any relevant education certifications and/or work experience may be considered.
