In this role you will working as an Estimator for a client that works in fabricating and installing structural steel miscellaneous iron and ornamental metals for the construction industry.
Duties
- Review all bid documents drawings and specifications to become familiar with scope of work prior to starting scope letter and estimate
- Developscope letter and send to general contractors prior to bid day
- Take of all material labor and equipment using Fabtrol Excel and company estimating standards
This position is a contract to possible permanent position and a long term need for my client. This position must work on site.
Pay: $30 45/hr
Requirements
- Steel and Sub contractor background required
- Must have proven experience in construction. Estimating and bidding preferred.
- High School Diploma required.
- Familiar with estimating software (Fabtrol is a plus)
