You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWere seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Data Engineer you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) data warehouse. The role is highly technical and handson and involves running projects to ensure that data is consolidated standardised and accessible in a manner that is useful to the business. You will play a key role in data management consolidation and analytics delivery across the RSC ensuring a better use of data as an asset and a joinedup shared view of customers products and services.
You will collaborate with stakeholders across the business to identify requirements and implement effective data solutions. You will analyse data from various sources build ETL processes and ensure data quality and accessibility while maintaining security and compliance standards. Your expertise will help create a unified view of our customers products and markets that drives business intelligence and strategic initiatives.
Working in an Agile environment youll lead the data engineering aspects of crossfunctional projects provide best practices guidance to end users and contribute to our data governance framework.
At the RSC we embrace flexibility and offer hybrid working which means our teams come together when they need to collaborate. Although this role is contractually based at our Cambridge office you will be able to work from home within the UK with the expectation that you will attend the office as needed for your role. In this role it is expected that you will attend the office approximately one day per quarter or when inperson is necessary.
