Job Description

Position Type: Parttime adjunct
Compensation: $800 $950 per credit based on adjunct faculty rank (determined by education and experience)
Location: NHTI Concords Community College Concord NH

Overview:

NHTI Concords Community College is seeking passionate and skilled educators to join our Adjunct Faculty Talent Pool in College Composition. This is an exciting opportunity to help students develop essential writing critical thinking and communication skills that will serve them throughout their academic and professional careers.

As part of this talent pool youll have the chance to engage students in meaningful discussions refine their writing abilities and foster a love for effective communication. Whether youre an experienced instructor or a professional writer eager to teach we invite you to share your expertise and make a lasting impact at NHTI!

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Masters degree in English Composition or a relevant field.
  • Experience: At least two years of teaching experience at the college level preferably in an undergraduate writing course.
  • Desired qualifications: Excellent communication skills Familiarity with Canvas (or similar LMS) ability to teach other courses in Communications or Literature.
  • Residency: Must reside in NH VT ME MA RI or CT.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Course Delivery: Provide instruction using curricula aligned with department and program standards.
  • Student Engagement: Foster active learning through discussions assignments and assessments.
  • Assessment & Feedback: Evaluate student performance provide feedback and maintain accurate records of student progress.
  • Professional Development: Stay current in your field and adhere to institutional policies and guidelines.
