Your work environment at EXP
In this role you will be based out of our Huntsville Ontario Office.
Responsibilities include:
- Participate and perform design tasks including AutoCAD Civil 3D drafting in the design of infrastructure projects including watermains storm and sanitary sewers grading and storm water management
- Support the design project manager to liaise with clients regulatory authorities and other project stakeholders to guide projects through the approval processes
- Collaborate with the design project manager on project schedules and budgets
- Collaborate on fundamentals of detail design of Civil/Siteworks infrastructure work and project management
- Oversee document review and assess contractors compliance with contractual requirements
- Take accurate and detailed measurements of all work performed by the contractor to ensure accurate payments for work performed
- Perform Contract Administrator and Inspection tasks in preparing various site reports
Required Qualifications include:
- Professional Engineer designation (P.Eng. Or EngineerinTraining (EIT) in Ontario is required
- Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum of 2 years experience
- Knowledge of Civil 3D
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office including MS Word PowerPoint and Excel
