Job Description

Lead and supervise Kidtopia ensuring children are safe engaged and cared for. Provide support leadership and supervision of other Recreation areas.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for maintaining a safe and fun environment for the children involved in Kidtopia and Vibz.
  • Responsible for recruiting directing supervising coaching training and development of Recreation team members.
  • Monitor the flow of business at the pools Kidtopia and other Recreation areas ensuring prompt response to guest concerns and issues.
  • Maintain the safety of all guests in the Recreation Areas ensuring for example lifeguards are deployed and trained correctly and Kidtopia attendants are properly monitoring and supervising children.
  • Act as a main point of contact between Kids Camp attendants and parents ensuring that childrens needs are communicated and monitored throughout the day. Relay information about children in care to parents during check out
  • Responsible for energetically engaging the staff in carrying out Recreation team job functions and Kids day camp activities game center breaks etc.
  • Ensure all team members maintain a neat clean professional appearance
  • Manager associate payroll according to labor productivity guidelines. Ensuring Associates are punctual and able to take breaks.
  • Ensure we vigorously enforce all work rules for minors.
  • Conduct themselves in a mature and appropriate manner when interacting with children members guests and vendors if/when issues arise
  • Ensure all staff follows proper procedures in cash handling safety registration and cleanliness
  • Create and implement new ideas for childrens activities.
  • Help streamline and improve the guest experience and related internal processes.
  • Monitor communication logs and ensure that guest and member requests are followed up with quickly. Check for repetitive problems and follow through on any unresolved requests

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree preferred
  • 2 years experience in a supervisory role preferred
  • Previous experience in customer service and administrative duties required
  • Previous experience in customer service and childcare /child development experience required
  • Valid drivers license. Current certification of First Aid CPR AED and Child Abuse/Neglect class. If not complete La Costa will provide within 30 days of hire. Lifeguard certification available if interested.

Salary $68640.00 annually
