Summary of the Position:
We are seeking an experienced analyst to join the NY acquisitions team for an immediate start. The analyst will be responsible for evaluating potential acquisitions opportunities in the office and residential asset classes for both existing assets and development projects. The role will involve working with teams across our core functions including: portfolio management asset management development equity & debt capital markets property management corporate strategy innovation design and construction and leasing.
Key Responsibilities:
Underwrite stabilized valueadd and development investment opportunities using Excel and Argus software to develop pro forma cash flows and sensitivity analyses
Assist with due diligence process associated with acquisitions and developments including performing feasibility analyses costing analyses detailed entitlement processes financial underwriting and debt financing
Work with appropriate assetexpert teams to analyze and negotiate customer demand and deal structures
Perform robust market research through thirdparty data providers and communication both internally and with local brokers to compile relevant lease comparable sale comparable competitive sets development pipelines and general market data to inform underwritings
Prepare presentation materials and proposals with responsibility for written and graphic requirements
Skills & Qualifications:
13 years of experience in an analytically rigorous Real Estate or Finance environment
Evident passion for real estate and desire to build a career on the principal side
Demonstrated curiosity and desire for continued growth
Strong creative problemsolving skills
Effective written and oral communication skills
Proficiency in Excel ARGUS Enterprise and financial modeling
The ability to work effectively with both peers and senior executives in a highly entrepreneurial teamoriented environment
Consistent attention to detail
The base compensation range for this role is $90000 to $110000. This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus as well as access to our comprehensive medical dental and vision insurance life and disability insurance 401(k) plan (with matching contributions) wellness benefits and all other benefits afforded to fulltime Tishman Speyer employees. This base range reflects a number of factors including but not limited to relevant experience skill sets and/or licensure required of an individual in this particular role. The base range is also specific to members of Tishman Speyers New York team as weve considered factors specific to this geography.
