- High emotional intelligence with strong verbal and written communication skills including story lining and laying out high quality collateral.
- Good understanding of the Worleys customers market subsectors and competitors.

- Adept at navigating ambiguity to facilitate outcomes.
- Resourceful at finding data and information to feed analyses.
- Comfortable communicating with and presenting to personnel at all levels from frontline personnel to senior leaders.
- Qualifications and experience
- 13years experience in strategy consulting professional services firm.
- 1 years working experience in Energy Chemicals and/or Resources sectors.
- University/Bachelors degree in a related subject e.g. Chemical engineering Mechanical Engineering Economics Mathematics etc.
- MBA or relevant graduate degree.
- Expert in Microsoft Excel (including financial modelling) PowerPoint and Word Experience with presenting to groups including senior leaders with confidence and poise.
- Other Requirements
- Flexibility is needed in order to connect and work with others across multiple time zones and cultures given we are a distributed global business.
- Some overtime may be required to meet deadlines Minimal travel may be required.

The Role
As a Senior Strategic Analyst with Worley you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.
The Group Strategy team undertakes a range of high visibility and high impact initiatives that drive wealth creation for the enterprise.
The team operates as an internal strategy consulting function working closely together in quick iterations to develop answers to challenging and ambiguous problems.
- Market analysis and insight
- Execute and deliver on key market analyses including but not limited to growth projections and trends supply and demand cost curves and economic and financial analysis and modelling.
- Perform thorough systematic analysis of key industry trends; the general social economic and political environment; legal and regulatory issues (including incentives); customers; current and potential competitors.
- Translate information and analyses above into proprietary / actionable insights and sound recommendations to inform senior leaderships strategic business decisions.
- Maintain an indepth knowledge of designated markets and trends through reading reports market research data manipulation and financial modeling and analysis.
- Support development of strategyfocused deliverables for external communications.
- Drive processes for ongoing collection of data and ensure analyses of macro trends market customer and competitor intelligence remain ever green.
- Drive strategy development
- Work with the Group Strategy team to evaluate Where to Play and How to Play and How to Win.
- Supply the market and competitive intelligence component of strategic planning and proactively making recommendations concerning key intelligence items that require further consideration.
- Interface between Operations Sales Marketing Sectors and other functions to ensure alignment between formulation and of strategies.
- Working with internal strategy network to enhance their use of strategic analysis and market andcompetitor intelligence.
- Strategy / internal consulting projects
- Support the Group Strategy team through leading a range of strategy projects including: Portfolio analysis.
- Market landscaping and segmentation Competitor profiling and acquisition target prioritization.
- Strategic capability assessment Commercial analysis (sales gotomarket pricing etc) o digital and technology development.
- Frame scope and analyze strategic problems and recommend best courses of action.
- Generate strategy collateral necessary for key decisionmaking activities (e.g. strategy sessions investor days corporate reporting budget planning).
- Undertake adhoc projects requested by the CEO or Board.
- Contribute to a progressive Way of Working and a high performing team
