Performs preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment this includes changing air filters greasing replacement of belts etc. Installs motors electronics thermostats humidistats fans and other HVAC components. Assists with troubleshooting and resolving issues with HVAC equipment. Maintain a flexible work schedule including being oncall. Other duties as assigned. Must be willing to work weekends.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
To maintain and service all aspects of the heating ventilation and air conditioning systems in two large stateoftheart research facilities. Maintain VAV boxes heating water hydronics chilled water controls and automated control systems. Troubleshoot problems working on commercial HVAC systems and assisting in maintaining systems. Support and assist other trades. Responds to afterhours callout and other duties as assigned.
