CityScapeWhat youll do:
As a Portfolio Manager Special Assets you will be responsible for supporting Special Assets Officers in their management of assigned loans. You will be responsible for completing or coordinating with other team members financial analysis summary reports as well as ordering and reviewing 3rd party and vendor reports. You may be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the work of credit analysts including assigning or managing workflow to ensure quality accuracy and timely completion. In this role youll work on the preparation and presentation of a variety of Special Assets department reports.Responsible for supporting the Special Assets team by preparing organizing and maintaining working files on assigned assets requiring knowledge of all loan and real estate documentation. Work with SAG Operations team to close transactions.
Calculate amounts owed on loans; prepares/reviews reinstatement and payoff statements default notices bankruptcy Proofs of Claim. Perform loan and borrower research on loan servicing systems. Prepares loan assumption forbearance and loan modification documents. Order and track all necessary thirdparty reports such as: appraisals Broker Opinions of Value environmental inspections property profiles title reports invoices etc.
Keep Special Assets team updated on relevant trends of specific loans portfolios or industries. Provide credit information and references for customers loan officers or other agencies as requested
What youll need:
Bachelors Degree from a 4year college or university and 2 years of experience in Accounting Financial Analysis Finance or related experience
Intermediate knowledge of general banking operations including deposit operations loan administration treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.
Intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations rules and regulations industry standards and practices.
Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills
