Description:
As an Advanced Practice Provider youll play an integral role in our inpatient and ambulatory care teams by providing highquality costeffective care to patients.
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to:
- Provide comprehensive care to patients with breast disorders including the spectrum of diseases from benign abnormalities to breast cancer survivorship.
- Provide care and educate patients on highrisk treatment strategies wellness care and treatment plans for benign changes.
- See patients with benign breast problems postoperative complications follow patients who are high risk for breast cancer and follow breast cancer survivor patients.
- Collaborate with the team to develop manage and modify treatment plans for patients at high risk for breast cancer.
- Treat patients with breast cancer risk factors through multidisciplinary care by Surgical Oncologists Medical Oncologists Genetic Counselors and Radiation Oncologists.
Education:
Minimum
If Nurse Practitioner:Masters or Doctorates degree from accredited Nursing Program.
If Physician Assistant:Bachelors or Masters degree from accredited PA Program.
Licenses and Certifications:
Minimum State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure
If Nurse Practitioner*:
- Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses including prescriptive authority in state(s) of practice AND
- Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice. These may include the following:Adult; Adult/Gerontology Primary Care; Family.
If Physician Assistant*:
- Active PA license including prescriptive authority in state(s) of practice AND
- Active PA board certification
All Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have*: Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.
*Active license or eligibility to obtain active licensure in state of practice. This may include licensing in Wisconsin and other state(s) of practice.
