Job Description

The IFS Foundation is dedicated to creating sustainable longterm impact in communities through strategic investments in education healthcare and community development. As the corporate social responsibility arm of IFS a global leader in enterprise software solutions the Foundation works closely with local organizations and stakeholders to drive meaningful transformative change.

Operating as a network of independent charitable organizations the IFS Foundation partners with communities in Sri Lanka to address poverty and improve quality of life. The Foundations initiatives focus on five key areas: access to healthcare clean water sanitation education and employment opportunitiesaligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Through these efforts the Foundation empowers individuals and communities fostering lasting social and economic progress.

The Project Coordinator will support the successful of IFS Foundation initiatives on a oneyear fixedterm contract. This role will primarily assist and coordinate with the CSR Senior Executive in the following areas:

  1. Project Coordination and Implementation Assistance:
    • Support the planning and monitoring of IFS Foundation programs and projects.
    • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely delivery of project objectives.
    • Assist in managing project timelines budgets and resources to achieve desired outcomes.
  2. Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Build and maintain relationships with community organizations NGOs and other stakeholders.
    • Facilitate communication and collaboration between the company and IFS Foundation partners.
    • Represent the company at IFS Foundationrelated events meetings and forums.
  3. Monitoring and Reporting:
    • Track the progress and impact of IFS Foundation initiatives using established metrics.
    • Prepare detailed reports presentations and updates for internal and external stakeholders.
    • Identify areas for improvement and recommend adjustments to enhance program effectiveness.
  4. Communication and Awareness:
    • Support the creation of promotional materials including newsletters social media posts and press releases to highlight IFS Foundation efforts.
    • Organize events and campaigns to raise awareness of IFS Foundation initiatives among employees and the community.
    • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to align IFS Foundation messaging with corporate branding.
  5. Administrative Support:
    • Maintain documentation databases and records related to IFS Foundation projects.
    • Assist in preparing funding proposals and managing grant applications.
    • Handle logistical arrangements for IFS Foundationrelated activities.

Qualifications :

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Social Sciences Business Administration Environmental Studies or a related field.

Experience:

  • 2 years of experience in CSR project coordination or community engagement.
  • Experience in managing multiple projects and working with diverse stakeholders is an advantage.
